Description |
| Tab Name |
This settings sets the name of the page within the RCMS system. It also is the name that will be used in the automatic menu system and the SiteMap module |
| Title |
This setting sets the text that will appear at the top of the browser windows. Normally, the Title is the same as the Tab Name. If no Title is specified, RCMS will use the Tab Name. |
| Description |
This setting allows the author to provide a short description about the page contents. This is useful for search engine optimization that look for this section to determine what a web page is about. |
| Keywords |
The section allow the author to provide a list of the keywords used in most search engine optimizations. |
| Submit to Google |
Clicking this link will notify Google to index this webpage within its search database. The search engine placement (optimization) will be determined by the description section, keywords section, and the content of the webpage. |
| Icon |
This setting will associate a graphic image to with the web page to be used as an icon in the automatic menu system. Note: images should be small in size (16x16) to be used as an icon. |
| Parent Tab |
This setting allows the author to establish a hierachry of web pages within the website. The hierarchy of web pages will then be reflected in the menu system. |
| Tab Skin |
This setting allows the author to select a pre-defined look and feel layout (skin) for the page from a drop down menu and preview the selection by clicking the “Preview” link. There are a wide variety of skins available and custom skins are easy to build. |
| Tab Container |
This setting allows the author to set a default module container for all modules on the page. Note: This is only a default setting and the container setting can be overridden on the Module Settings page. |
| Hidden |
Checking this setting keeps the Tab from appearing on the menu structure. This is useful if you have a page that would like to link to, but don't necessarily want it on the menu. |
| Disabled |
This setting simply prevents the tab from being clicked in the menu. The Tab Name will still appear in the menu, but clicking on the name will not do anything. This can be useful when building a heirachy of web pages for the menu structure. |
| Administrator Roles |
This setting controls who is allowed to modify the page. Admistrator roles have the ability to add/modify/delete any modules on the page. |
| Authorized Roles |
This setting controls who is allows to see the tab. By default, this usually includes “All Users“ but access can be restricted to only certain roles such as “Board Members“ or “Tournament Directors“. Non-authorized users will not even see the tab in the menu structure. Useful if you have secure content that you dont want to publish to everyone on the internet. |
