| Title |
Sets the Title text at the top of the module. |
| Icon |
Sets the icon image to be used for the module. Note: not all containers support the module icon. |
| Display Module Title? |
This setting is supposed to hide/show the module title. In reality it actually sets whether or not to use a module container. If selected, this setting will override any selection in the Module Container dropdown box. |
| Display Module On All Tabs? |
Checking this option will orce the module to be displayed on every tab (page) without having to manually put the module on each tab. Might be useful for modules like “Feedback“ or “Users Online“ |
| Personalization? |
Some module containers allow the content within the module to be minimized or maximized. This setting specifies the default status for this module. Note: not all module containers support Personalization. |
| Cache Timeout (seconds) |
This is an advanced setting that can help reduce load time for commonly used modules or static content modules. Rather than dynamically building the content from scratch, the content can be retrieved from memory if the last hit was with the time interval specified here. Note: any changes to the content within the module will not be reflected until the cache timeout has expired. |
| Roles that can view content |
This settings allows the author to control who is allowed to see the content within the module. If the visitor does not have proper permissions, the module will not be displayed. By default, this setting will use the same permission from the Tab Settings if none are specified here. Note: for normal circumstances, it is not necessary to change this setting. |
| Roles that can edit content |
Similar to “View“, this setting controls who is allowed to change the content of this module. Anyone belonging to a Role that is on the “assigned“ side will have the ability to edit the content of this module. Note: “Administrators“ can not be removed from the “Assigned” roles. |
| Alignment |
This setting control the horizontal alignment of the content within the space of the module. Note: not all module containers support the Alignment setting. |
| Color |
This setting control the background of the module. Note: not all module containers support the Color setting. |
| Border |
This setting control the border of the module. Note: not all module containers support the Border setting. |
| Module Container |
This setting allows the author to customize the look of the module by selecting an container from the drop down list. Some containers are more artistic than others and the author can preview the outcome by selecting a container and clicking the “Preview“ link. |
| Move To Tab |
This option will move the module to a different Tab thus saving the work of deleting and then re-creating the same module on a different Tab. |
