When the user has proper Edit rights to a module, the user will see a pencil icon on the module (usually located at the top of the module). Hovering the mouse over the pencil icon will display a pop-up menu of context relative module actions.
The top block of actions are always specific depending on the type of module. For example, this image show the module actions for the Text/HTML module. The module specific action include: “Edit” the Text/HTML, “Online Help” and “Documentation”.
In additon the module actions includes common commands:

This series of options allow the author to move the module to a different location on the same page. The options will vary depending on the content areas defined for the particular skin being used and the current location of the module. |
